Laura Krouch

Laura wears many hats in life: production stage manager, company manager, production assistant, lighting director and other assorted titles. Laura Serves as General Manager of 4PuppetPeople, as well as the performer of Herman on Oscar and Herman PLAY INSIDE!

She has been seen in NYC as recently as the production stage manager of All Kinds of People (Inside Broadway). Regionally she has been the production stage manager for Timber Lake Playhouse for the past two summers presenting six shows in three months each summer.  On the road she has been to 47 of the 50 states with Jim Henson's Dinosaur Train Live! Buddy's Big Adventure (Mills Entertainment and Gables Grove Productions, Inc), John Tartaglia's ImaginOcean (Gables Grove Productions Inc), Click, Clack, Moo! (TheaterWorks USA), just to name a few.

Growing up her parents made sure she was well educated in children's programming, which of course included puppetry.  Endlessly mesmerized by the likes of Sherri Lewis and Lambchop, Ron Lucas, Edgar Bergan and Charlie McCarthy, the hand puppets of Mister Rogers Neighborhood, and of course Sesame Street and the Muppets, Laura had an early love for puppetry.  It ran just below her skin during schooling including a brief resurgence in college with the advent of Avenue Q.  She didn't enter the puppetry world again until a series of events that led her to be the stage manager/lighting director for Jim Henson's Dinosaur Train Live! Buddy's Big Adventure. It was there after an early morning load in and an obscure 80's cartoon reference that she and Kirk became instant friends.

In her free time Laura enjoys sculpting, drawing, painting, creating strange things inside the pages of her sketchbook, and watching cartoons with a cup of coffee.

"Growing old is inevitable, growing up is optional."
